I created this website because congenital heart disease (CHD) isn’t just a diagnosis to me, it’s personal. Like so many in the CHD community, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming, isolating, and confusing this journey can be. Whether you’re a patient, a parent, a caregiver, or a loved one, finding reliable information and genuine support shouldn’t feel like another uphill battle.
This site was born out of a need for clarity, connection, and compassion. I wanted to create a space that brings trusted resources together in one place, while also reminding people that they are not alone. CHD affects every part of life, not just the heart, and everyone’s experience is different, but our strength as a community is shared.I was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS).
Living with a complex congenital heart condition has been part of my story from the very beginning, shaping my resilience and perspective, but it has never defined my limits.
Today, I’m living a full and meaningful life. I’m married, have a family, hold a master’s degree, and work full time. Along the way, I’ve learned how to balance health, ambition, and everyday life proving that living with CHD can include love, growth, and success.
My journey is one of perseverance, adaptability, and hope, and I carry that with me into every part of my life.
